Background
Ms. Soraya Racette holds an LL.B. (Bachelor of Law) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal in Canada, a Master 1 in International Business Law and a Master 2 in Insurance Law from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
Ms. Soraya Racette is a member of the Paris and Montreal Bar Associations and entered Schindhelm in 2024.
She also worked in the legal department of a large American insurance and risk management broker. In addition, she taught civil law courses at the Paris branch of the Université Catholique de Lille.
Ms. Soraya Racette works both in English and in French, essentially in business and commercial law, as well as in contract law, intellectual property law and labour law. She also has solid experience in international litigation and arbitration in the context of cross-border disputes.
Ms. Soraya Racette also intervenes in art law, in connection with the transactional aspects of art sales, and also for disputes relating to looted art or with respect to issues regarding authenticity.
Ms. Soraya Racette is a member of the Franco-British Lawyers Society (FBLS)
